Dr. David McFadden
I like and I believe in people.
In fact, I find people to be incredible and fascinating in their ability to cope with, deal with, live through, learn from, and change as a result of the experiences life throws at them. correspondingly, I always, always believe there is a way to move forward. There are times when the way is hard to find; there are times when our brains just shut down to the possibility that there is a way through the mess and uncertainty in front of us.
But I Know There Is A Way!
There is always a way! My job is to help you believe that this is truth and then to find the way that works best for you.
(Even if that means you have to borrow my faith in you for a little while…)
Family Counseling
Not only, but also, I bring a combination of education, (a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and one in Pastoral Counseling as well as a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling), a wealth of experience (in life as well as my work as a therapist) and a personality that is built for working with people. Futhermore, I help people because that is my life’s calling - what I give to the world and what I feel I have always been called to do and become.
Equally important, I have a great marriage and we have worked hard over the years to take care of each other. We both play a big part in each other’s lives. Check out the “about us” page to learn more.
Always having been one to take on personal challenges. I have ridden my bicycle to the top of the highest paved road in the world 4 times - 60 miles of pedaling uphill - and don’t know why once was not enough! In addition, I am not afraid to tackle something difficult. Accordingly, I am willing to jump in with you and help you figure out how to take on the challenge, trial, difficulty, tragedy, major decision, or struggle that you are facing. If it can happen in life, I have either experienced it, gone through it with a family member, or worked with someone who has. I will stick with you until we get it figured out and resolved and you are achieving your goals.
